Children’s Clothes, Baby Equipment, & Toys Re-Sale

 

            After such a long wait, we are finally here and ready to embrace the newest trend in children’s consignment. Time to sort through all of  your  children’s  outgrown  clothing, used toys, baby equipment, etc. - and turn it into CASH!

This new trend in children’s consignment is  going  to take place twice a year.  We are anticipating a large turnout  for this sale - both in consignors, buyers and vendors.  This is why we have chosen to hold this fantastic sale in the heart of the  Glebe at  the well renowned  Glebe Community Center. Our Children’s Consignment sale will be held at  The Glebe Community Center   Main Hall at  175 Third Avenue ( corner of Third Avenue & Lyon Street South).

Join us Sunday, April 25th, 2010 10:00am and 3:00pm, and earn 70% commission for your gently used children’s clothes, toys, books, videos, furniture, strollers, maternity wear, etc. Registration paid prior to April 15th is only $10.00.  After April 15th, 2010 the  cost will be $15.00.  Remember, if you sign up for a 2-hour Volunteer worker shift you be permitted to shop the preview sale from 9:30am-10:00am before the general public. Even if you do not want to consign this year, and want to attend the Pre-View Sale - sign up for a workers shift and you will be allowed to shop before the general public!

OTTAWA POLICE CHILD PRINT COMMUNITY SERVICE 10:30AM - 12:30PM. COME OUT AND HAVE YOUR CHILD FINGER PRINTED.

FACE PAINTING 10:00AM – 3:00PM

NO ENTRANCE FEE, NON-PERISHABLE ITEM FOR THE OTTAWA FOOD BANK BABY CUPBOARD IS APPRECIATED BY ALL.
DONATIONS WILL BE MADE TO THE FOOD BANK AND THE SNOWSUIT FUND.

  • Print out copies of our Re-Sale Announcement flyer from our web page, put your name and account number on them, and hand them out to friends, parenting group moms, your children’s classmates parents, and family!  For every Re-Sale attendee on Sunday, April 25th, 2010, who hands in a flyer with your name on it, you will receive an extra 1% commission fee (to a max. of 75%).

  • Consignors must bring in a min. of 25 items and max. of 210 items.

We will be very thorough with our inspections at drop off.  Our concern will be  quality, condition, and cleanliness

We are allowing an opportunity for fundraising groups to earn 75% commission on the sale of their items.  To qualify, your fundraising group must have 15 families or more participate.   Include your day care, school groups,  sports teams, church groups, etc.  Please make sure your group name is noted during registration.

We also have vendor tables for those businesses looking to meet with their target market, families. It is a fantastic way to meet new clients!! Vendor space is limited so contact us soon to rent a table!
